Privacy Policy
Effective 13 June 2026
1. About This Policy
Curatorino Pty Ltd (ACN 698 491 968) ("we", "us") operates the quick dresser web application at thequickdresser.com — an AI-powered wardrobe and personal styling tool. This Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Account details — email address, name, and password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider).
- Profile information — suburb, profession, style preferences, and clothing sizes, collected during onboarding to personalise outfit suggestions.
- Wardrobe data — photographs of clothing items you upload, and associated metadata (category, colour, brand, size, material, occasion tags, wear history, and similar attributes).
- Sign-in provider data — if you register via Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and a unique identifier from that provider. We do not receive your password for those services.
- Usage and behavioural data — pages and features accessed, outfit suggestions shown and accepted, ratings you provide, device type, browser, and approximate location derived from IP address.
- Error and performance data — application errors and diagnostic information used to identify and fix problems. Known personal data fields are scrubbed before transmission.
- Payment information — if you subscribe to a paid tier, payments are processed by Stripe. We receive only a payment token, the last four digits of your card, card type, and billing country. We never store full card details.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Providing the Service — managing your account, generating outfit suggestions, and enabling you to build and browse your wardrobe.
- AI processing — your clothing photographs and wardrobe metadata are processed by AI services to recognise clothing attributes, generate outfit suggestions, and compose outfit imagery. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models.
- Improving the Service — analysing usage patterns and feedback to fix bugs and develop new features.
- Communications — sending transactional emails (account, receipts, password reset) and, where you have opted in, marketing emails.
- Security and legal compliance — detecting fraud, responding to lawful requests, and enforcing our Terms of Service.
4. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contractual obligations to handle it securely. These include:
- Authentication provider — manages sign-in, sessions, and OAuth.
- Cloud database provider (Australia) — stores user accounts and wardrobe metadata on servers in Australia.
- Cloud storage provider — stores clothing photographs via a global content delivery network.
- AI processing providers (United States) — process photographs and metadata for clothing recognition, outfit generation, and image composition.
- Image processing provider (United States) — removes backgrounds from clothing photographs.
- Product analytics provider (European Union) — tracks in-app events to help us understand usage.
- Website analytics providers — measure page views and performance.
- Error monitoring provider — captures application errors; personal data fields are scrubbed where possible.
- Payment processor — Stripe handles subscription payments. See stripe.com/privacy.
- Weather data provider — receives only a suburb or city name to return local weather. No personal identifiers are shared.
We may also disclose information where required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of users or the public. If the quick dresser is acquired or merges with another entity, your data may transfer as part of that transaction — we will notify you beforehand.
5. International Data Transfers
Your primary data is stored in Australia. Some service providers process data in the United States and European Union. By using the Service, you consent to these transfers. We select reputable providers who maintain their own security and compliance standards.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies (required for sign-in and session management) and analytics cookies (to understand how the Service is used). You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect functionality. We do not currently use advertising or tracking cookies. If we introduce these in future, we will update this Policy and obtain your consent first.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal obligations. When you delete your account, it is deactivated immediately; residual data in backups is purged within 90 days. Clothing photographs are deleted on account deletion. To request earlier deletion, contact privacy@thequickdresser.com — we will action requests within 30 days.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS), hashed password storage, restricted access to production systems, and automated security scanning. No method of electronic storage is completely secure; in the event of a breach likely to cause serious harm we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as soon as practicable.
9. Your Rights
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to request correction of anything that is inaccurate or incomplete. To make a request, contact us at privacy@thequickdresser.com — we will respond within 30 days and may ask you to verify your identity. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the OAIC at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.
10. Marketing Communications
If you opt in, we may send marketing emails about new features and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any marketing email or through your account settings. Transactional emails (receipts, password resets) are not affected by unsubscribing.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect and display a notice on the Service. The revised effective date will appear at the top of this document.
